Great little place! Came in and on a quiet night, the parking lot was packed, everyone was enjoying their food but despite the crowd, service was prompt and the food came out quickly! The shrimp and grits and fried chicken were phenomenal. The brisket sandwich and the beef liver were good too. Cannot recommend higher!

This is a hole in the wall for sure. If you want pristine it's not for you. However the food is great, staff lovely and friendly. It's full of locals up in ages but it's quaint and is well worth supporting. Definitely a mom and pop feel. The pancakes are the size of a hubcap so one is more than enough for most people. 😋

Saturday-morning busy – to me that says it all: great food, great atmosphere. So busy that I sat at a group table (different folks all sitting at the same table). That’s a fun atmosphere, meeting and eating with new folks. The food was great, too! It always is.

It’s simple comfort food and mostly made the way you would at home. The only problem I’ve had was the other night the French fries and tater tots had an old fishy taste because they probably weren’t changing out the frying oil often enough. The pies are all very good though. It can get really busy in the evenings because there’s no other place nearby to choose from.

Great local place. Service was very good. We were looking for some country cooking since we are from Mississippi. We found it. Pinto beans, cornbread, okra, turnip greens plus lots of other veggies and all the other good stuff. Full of locals and it was great. Just the place we were looking for and very reasonable too! Highly recommended.

Great wholesome food every time. Good quality and quantity for the price as well. Daily specials and an updated board on both sides to keep customers aware of what is sold out and what specials are by day. Would recommend. Country family cooking and theme, always a delight to dine there.

1st time I went every thing was amazing! Sadly, the 2nd time I went and tooky hubby with me we ordered the meatloaf special and it came to our table barely lukewarm😞. Very disappointed that it was not hot. I mentioned to cashier before leaving that they needed to let kitchen know that some food was leaving kitchen on the cold side and she discounted our meal a little and apologized for the not so hot meal. It tastes good temp. was just off.

Breakfast ends at 11 am! Some photos in google, such as chicken fried steak, are specials and not served every day. Many southern cooked options. Service very friendly! Food was good!
